Try a new flavor on your salmon. Top the fish with a hoisin and Chinese five-spice mixture before baking. Serve with quinoa.

Ingredients
3 tbsp. hoisin sauce
1/4 tsp. Chinese five-spice powder
piece skinless salmon fillet
quinoa
water
1 tbsp. rice vinegar
1 tbsp. reduced-sodium soy sauce
bunch radishes
green onions
Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 400°F. In small bowl, combine hoisin and five-spice powder. In 13" by 9" glass or ceramic baking dish, place salmon, flat side down. Spread hoisin mixture on top of salmon. Bake salmon 15 to 17 minutes or until opaque throughout.
  2. Meanwhile, in 12-inch skillet, toast quinoa on medium 5 minutes or until fragrant and golden, stirring frequently.
  3. Stir water into toasted quinoa; heat to boiling on high. Reduce heat to low; cover and simmer 15 minutes or until water is absorbed. Remove skillet from heat and stir in vinegar, soy sauce, radishes, and green onions until blended.
  4. Serve salmon with quinoa.
